About the maker
The family traces its workshop to Giacomo Castagnari in 1914. It took part in the revival of the diatonic accordion from the late 1970s and continues through four generations.
Its catalogue spans traditional and modern diatonic layouts, Irish models and chromatic instruments. The illustrated wooden Hascy has 21 treble buttons and eight basses.
