About the maker
William “Wim” Wakker founded the firm in 1993. Its range includes English, Anglo and duet concertinas, and the workshop also restores older instruments. The published contact address is in Valleyford, Washington.
The illustrated Busker English is a 36-key English-system concertina with a separate air button. It has black ebonized ends, leather bellows and accordion-type reeds, which the maker describes as a hybrid design.
