About the maker
The City of Stradella dates Mariano Dallapè's first workshop to 1876. The company ended acoustic accordion production in October 2010; Roland later sampled sounds from its historic instruments for V-Accordions.
The photograph shows a Dallapè button accordion dated to around 1928 in the Swiss Accordion Museum collection. It is a surviving historic instrument, not a current model.
