About the maker
The Schwarz family's instrument-making tradition began with jaw harps in 1679. According to the maker, Steirische Harmonikas became a focus about 45 years ago. Today its workshop in Molln makes the instruments with a mix of handwork and modern woodworking equipment.
The illustrated Königseiche from the Gold range has an oak case. The maker specifies four rows, 46 melody buttons, 16 bass buttons and Helikon basses.
