About the maker

Ranco's official website describes its work as accordion manufacturing and repair. It mentions a tradition continuing since 1890, but does not identify that year explicitly as the company's founding date.

The photograph on Ranco's official site shows a black button accordion with Ranco lettering. The site does not give this instrument a model name.
