About the maker
The predecessor VEB Klingenthaler Harmonikawerke combined 14 firms in 1949. After German reunification, instruments bearing the Weltmeister name returned to the market in 1995. The company adopted the name Weltmeister Akkordeon Manufaktur in 2017 and ended production in late 2024.
The maker's catalogue includes piano and button accordions. Its Supita II Piano, used for the illustration, is a black piano accordion with 41 treble keys and 120 bass buttons. These details describe a historical model, not a current production offer.
