Meet Akochun
My name is Akochun. I'm a ferruginous pygmy owl who got hooked on the accordion!
Press the keys or buttons and move the bellows, and out comes music. You can play a melody and its accompaniment all by yourself. It's so much fun that I lose track of time!
Here on this site, I introduce you to the instruments, their history and the people who play them. I'm curious about concertinas and bandoneons, too.
Find some sheet music or listen to a tune. Come along with me and start with whatever catches your eye!
