Daniel Colin is a French accordionist whose career centres on musette. He began learning the instrument as a child and first performed in Japan in 1994, later returning for concerts and recordings.
His albums place the accordion alongside Parisian song and other musical traditions. He also plays bandoneon on his collaboration with Argentine accordionist Raúl Barboza. On Mon Cœur Est Un Accordéon he recorded with singer Claire Elzière, Dominique Cravic and others. Rencontre à Paris brings him together with Barboza in an instrumental exchange, showing his work from song accompaniment to a meeting of two accordionists.
